who are we?

ChatterBugs Speech Therapy provides mobile speech pathology services to children between the ages 2-12 on the Mornington Peninsula. Our services focus on evidence based assessment and goal directed therapy, to support children’s communication abilities. We can provide services at home, school, kinder or daycare. 

 

At ChatterBugs Speech Therapy, we know that every child is unique and understand the importance of providing therapy sessions that are tailored to your child’s needs. We value the importance of family centered practice and working closely and collaboratively with educational staff and other allied health professionals to ensure that your child's goals are being targeted beyond their speech therapy sessions. 

 

We are committed to providing evidence based therapy that is fun and engaging for kids. We are also committed to ensuring our services are neurodiversity affirming.

The Founder of ChatterBugs Speech Therapy

I am a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, who studied a Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology at Charles Sturt University in New South Wales. In my career, I have gained extensive experience working with children of all ages, in a range of different settings including home environments, schools, kindergartens, daycares, in-clinic private practices and via telehealth. 

I specialise in assessing and providing intervention for children with speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, literacy difficulties, stuttering, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and difficulties with social communication. 

 

I am qualified and trained in Hanen It Takes Two to Talk (ITTT), Key Word Sign (KWS), Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (NDP3) and The Lidcombe Program. I am passionate about completing Professional Development trainings to continually enhance my knowledge and skills in all range of practice areas.
